Aftermarket fuel pressure regulator and pump need help!
I have a hodgepodge of years on my Jeep efi system on my car. I'm using 94 ZJ injectors on a 98 returnless rail, with a Hesco 70-90 psi external fuel pump, 95 harness, and single inlet/single outlet aftermarket fuel pressure regulator. From what I've come to understand, returnless systems still have returns, they're simply located before the fuel rail. 1, has anyone had experience using that particular fuel pump before, and what's the best way to plumb it? 2, How do I hook my regulator up, and where? I don't know if I simply add a T to a line for a return, or if I leave it with no return, just add the regulator in-line? All of this is making my head spin...I'm trying to save money, since I have none left to spend on the car this month, and winter is approaching fast, so I'd like to use what I have if I can.

I'm using my stock in tank pump and a AFPR with a return port on it. Russel makes a fitting to adapt from the push on fittings to -6 an. I just fabbed up a bracket that uses the bolt that holds the motor mount to the frame to hold my AFPR. I have 1 hose from the factory supply line to the inlet on the AFPR, another hose from the AFPR return port to the factory return line, and 1 line from the AFPR outlet port to a 96 XJ returnless fuel rail.
I can get some pics if you need them.

Yeah, pics would be awesome. I can't afford to spend more money on my car right now if I can help it. This is for an amc Eagle. I'm going to keep the fuel pump. It's rated at 70-90 psi and around 40 gallons/hr, from Hesco, and it's supposed to be for a returnless system. I think what I need to do is add a t to the fuel line going to the rail, and hook the inlet of the fpr to the t, and run a return line to the tank from the outlet of the fpr. From what I can tell, my fpr pressurizes the inlet side, and bypasses the extra fuel to the outlet...... Would that work?
