92 YJ head work in 99 TJ

I can get a 92 YJ head with the numbers 53008405. My question will this head work in my 99 TJ if I wanted to stroke it. Thanks in advance to any replies.

I believe the 99TJ was the first year of the 0331 head. Do you have a distributor or coil rail? You can use that head, but might have to figure out how to mount the coil rail(if you have it). Another issue is that the 92 head will have bigger exhaust ports so you'll need a different manifold. I have no idea if/how the accessories/pullies changed during the years, so you'll have to check that out as well. But the answer is yes, the 92 head will bolt on the 99 block.
