Fuel injectors for a 4.6??

I have read that I need 24lb/hr injectors for my 4.6 and want to get them from a junkyard. Can I get them out of any 5.0 motor or does it have to be a mustang? Also are all the injectors out of a 5.0 24# injectors?

After alot more research I have found out that the color of the 24# injector I need is light blue part # FMS-M9593-A302 for my
4.6 ,stock cam(Smog), .030 over, 258 crank & Rods.

Or you could go to a mustang site and buy the Venom 24# injectors and be just as happy for much less than the Ford Racing ones. They work just fine for me.

I went to the junkyard today and found some injectors out of a dodge van 5.9L. According to a website these injectors will flow 24.6lb/hr @ 39 PSI. Has anybody tried these injectors? I'm worried that I will get a little to much fuel.

The "blue" Ford injectors are also found i 460's.

Ar what distribution?is it two beams injectors of one?

The flow is not the only parameter you should consider when looking for new injectors.
