First Stroker, first post!

Hey guys, Great site you have here! I have learned a lot already just reading!
I'm not new to Jeeps, I have had my current jeep for about 7 years now... 1991 YJ with SOA and all the goodies...
But the 4.0 has got 225k on it, and I just started collecting parts for the stroker last week.
I found a guy parting out a YJ with a 4.2 on craigslist so I jumped on it... got the Crank and Connecting rods for 50 bucks!
He told me the engine was out of an 88-90 wagoneer...which he put in the YJ. I heard that was the year I needed so I don't have to mill the snout nose...
I took the parts home and then found this site with all those casting numbers and snout nose lengths (awesome info) and found that I actually bought the 4 counterweight crank from 81-86... so I will have to take it to a machine shop and have it milled down I guess.
So should I have them look at the crank and see if it's good or not? I mean, it looks good to me... but this is my first rebuild of any kind of engine...
thanks for any help!
