The deck height of the 4.0 block is listed as 9.450-9.456". The deck clearance of your engine should be somewhere around 0.030".

The deck height stock is always 9.450" to 9.456". What you're looking for is the deck clearance. Help yourself to some math and solve it using the attached image; think of it as a learning experience.
You will need:
Piston compression height
Connecting rod length
Stroke (then divide by 2)
Take the sum of those three and subtract from 9.450" to 9.456".
I'm using 4.0 rods and KB945 pistons so I don't know the numbers you need, but they are easy enough to look up.
