YearOne.com couldnt come through for the 30AB (they rufunded), so i called a bunch of other places and no luck. Looks like its impossible to get it now unless you can find someone willing to sell so.....

I decided to keep the stock retainers / locks / springs and im going with the P4529229AC (New part number.. old was P4529229AB). I updated the main post with the updated parts list and new Compression ratio calculator results.

How do you guys feel on the new numbers? (SCR of 9.68 and a DCR of 8.47) I dont mind running premium but i dont want to ruin the investment either. Should i just go ahead and dish the pistons more or just call it good?

Does anyone know if you can use OEM retainers with P4529215 springs??

I'm sure you can use the stock valve train with the 29 and those springs and premium can handle those comp numbers(mine's 10:1scr, 8.56dcr).

Good choice on the timing set. I wonder why they went from B-C on the cam p/n--new stock? Cool that it's made in USA. You stomached the TPS adapter. . .

What's the part to the left of the spacer in the 2nd to last pic?

The 229AC is the exact same cam as the 229AB, however the AC does not include the correct lube because Mopar is no longer allowed to ship the lube in the box with the cam per Mopar Performance hotline. Make sure you get the proper cam and lifter assembly lube. The Royal Purple lube is good, but not what you should use on the cam and lifters. If I remember correctly they recommended the Comp Cams product (http://www.compperformancegroupstores.c ... _Code=LUBE). Also, what not everyone realizes are the 215 springs are just stock springs so all of your stock hardware will work. Finally, good choice on the cam, I think you will really like it.

So the included lube with the AC isnt good to use?

If your AC cam came with lube in the box it is a fluke, I have yet to receive one in any of the ACs I have received. Is it a grey container in a plastic bag? If it is included with the cam then that should be the right stuff. Something else is that according to your date sticker it may have been early enough to sneak through. I will have to see if I still have a box here to compare dates.

Usually the moly based lube that the cam companies want you to use is a dark grey paste.

I just checked again and your right it didnt come with any lube... dont know what i was thinking..

Your best bet would be to call Mopar Performance direct and see what they say. That may be fine, but you do not want to rebuild a second time over <$20. They will know what will and will not work on that setup.
