Valve Cover

Post by nickjc13 »

Is there a company out there that makes a valve cover for my stroker that says 4.6?

I thought I saw one someplace, but after a quick look yesterday I didn't find it. I did find some at Quadratech that has "4.0" on them, but no 4.6.

I wouldn't trust vinyl on a valve cover (stickers).

I had mine powder coated blue a while ago and it has held up well.

Have a machine shop use a flow jet to cut one out of steel or aluminum. Grind the raised parts of the valve cover down a little and then either rivet it or epoxy it to the valve cover.

It would be neat. I have been thinking about cutting some out of aluminum on the router. Don't know what epoxy to use though. Thought about JB weld but that rusts.

Think of it as "Stealth!" , that's what I'm going for on mine, right down to the bar code sticker on the valve cover!

If someone is analyzing under your hood I think stealth just walked out the door because there would be a reason for them to look under the hood.

It'd be a sleeper! if they are lookin under the hood, you can blame it on the "hollowed out cat" or "flow master muffler"
