Agreed, my 7120 flows [28"]262@ .525 lift. Stock size valves. Above .525 it stinks but it was ported for low lift numbers anyway. Your alm head is 249cfm at 25" = 264cfm at 28"

Something amiss with the exhaust valve size?

Thats what Hesco told me, hey said the 1.6 was not a standard chevy size. The selection may be limited when you go to an 8mm stem. I have not investigated this.

1.058 OR 1.580, either is odd but 1.058 is definately not the correct size you have there.

The head is at Harland Sharp, they are putting a shaft system on it, 1.75 ratio.
1Bolt has been nice enough to run some numbers through EAP based on my Desktop dyno findings. Maybe he can post the graphs here. The basic results were 416 HP @ 6000rpm and a little less than 400ft/lbs @ 5000 rpm. about 210 ft/lbs @ 2,000 rpm. This was using the current head flow numbers. He also did a plot based on the head flowing 300 cfm (@ 24") the torque peak moved up to 5,500 rpm and was about 430 ft/lbs . torque was about the same from 2,000-2,500 but was slightly less between 2,500 -3,750 From 3500 up the torque is much better with the 300 cfm head. The HP still peaked at 6,000 rpm but was about 50 hp higher at 467.

Don't get too excited, these numbers are with a 12.6 cr long tube headers (4' !) and a custom intake. It would be interesting to run the numbers with a reduced compression ratio and see how much hp it would make. The Cam is also a little strange 260/284 duration @ .050 The long duration on the exhaust is because of the restrictive ports.

I am currently looking for a header source, looks like most of the companies are in california (I am in chicago), so i amy end up fabricating my own.

I received the Damper from ATI, but the hub is a little strange, it is 3" long. A standard damper hub is only about 1.250 long. The pulley is in the correct place, but it has a snout that sticks out about 1.5" I will probably just machine it off and use it to mount the Oil pump drive pulley.

Still waiting on pistons and rods.
