Re: 306.5in stroker
I had the same exact problem with my AFR meter. I tried one and it didn't work. Called Daytona Sensors and was told to get a different one, which worked.

I access my psc1-002 via serial db9-usb cable(that I bought for $5 shipped off ebay), if that helps. Oh yeah, the Innovate lm-2 is the real deal.

When all is said and done will this engine stay normally aspirated? Fantastic build!

Re: 306.5in stroker
Yes it will be a naturally aspirated engine. The compression is to hi to put any force induction on it and run any amount of boost and keep it on pump gas.

Re: 306.5in stroker
Definitely like the BDC of the piston

67cc chamber
how much below deck(TDC) did it end up being.........

used all the cylinder
look like about .020 from the picture???? Just curious
I know you need to leave a little on the table when you go from paper to reality.

Actually in that pic the piston wasn't at TDC. At TDC it sticks out .005

Would you be willing to divulge your source for the copper head gaskets, or sell them?

I suppose you could just get some copper sheet and anneal it then cut it with a razor knife.SilverXJ wrote:Would you be willing to divulge your source for the copper head gaskets, or sell them?
sorry, I was in redneck engineering mode... although I will probably try it at some point

Proud owner of many stroker parts, that have not yet spontaneously assembled themselves.TurboTom wrote: Not sure of your rules...but you need to start with an engine that works best for the rules and cheat from there!

Re: 306.5in stroker
I'd be more than happy to sell you them. I'd have to get you a current price because it will go up and down with the copper price though.SilverXJ wrote:Would you be willing to divulge your source for the copper head gaskets, or sell them?
Steve I promise as soon as I get Painless to fix the problem with linking to the ECM I will have some video and dyno #'s for ya.gremlinsteve wrote:im waiting for some dyno numbers....

Re: 306.5in stroker
Nice vid Steve I'd bet that thing is sick to drive
Well I have Painless sending me a new ECM, USB key and cable that has been tested to make sure it will link and then I can go dyno. Hopefully It will show up today. They were supposed to overnight it to me.

Here you go Steve A little video for you
http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea ... d=50927660
307 HP @ 5200 and 387 lbft @ 3600
This thing is a sweet little torque monster torque curve comes up @ 3200 and doesn't drop off until 4300. HP is a steady clime until 5200 it peeks out and starts to descend.
We had some problems getting into the software but Painless came through with a new ECU, USB key and cable then everything was fine.
