Hi i live in Colorado, where i am currently at around 5900 feet. I've been throwing around the idea of a 4.5L or 4.6L stroker kit. I do alot of wheeling along with highway and city driving. So for money purpose i need a low cost build, that runs on 87 octane. I have .030 bored over pistons all aluminun piston heads i got for free from a friend. I read that using alot of the 4.2L engine parts i can build a low cost stroker for my 2005 rubicon.
So my question is i guess, what exactley do i need for this build?

I too, live at high altitude(almost 7000 feet) Personally, with the altitude that you live, you could build the simple stroker with out any problem running on 87 to 89 octane..........JeepBumm68 wrote:Hi i live in Colorado, where i am currently at around 5900 feet. If you are in the Denver area, call Terry at Western Engine at 72nd and Washington. He did all the machine work on mine, and was very reasonable.
