Re: Harmonic Balancer
Hi, sorry to jump in. I read this post a few months ago. I did buy the newcomer racing ATI Damper. over $900 shipped. I installed it, and did not like it. Slightly higher vibration at 5,500 rpm area vs stock damper. My rotating assembly was balanced before assembly. It feels like if it was not tuned for a straight 6 engine. As mentioned here before it is probably for a V8.

Re: Harmonic Balancer
People still waiting around for this? I was thinking about doing the modded Ford 4.6 if it was worth doing. I get a ring around 6000ish rpm. Don't really like it but so far it hasn't done anything. I was thinking about doing some fabrication reinforcement for the valve train as well to try and cut down more harmonics and other unruly vibrations. There are some jeep pages I get tagged for quite often and they are mostly latino people building strokers. Maybe get on those boards too and get some people. Those guys seem to do more boosted builds too.
My Jeep is like having a conversation with two lions, in both my ears, inside my head, from the outside.... I hear good things from them!
