Well did I make my first mistake? I have a 99 Grand Cherokee block that has been clean bored 30 over and cambearings. This block has a thrust plate on the front of the cam. Is this going to be a problem. My cam I have is a Comp.68235-4.Also will Cloyes roller chain work with this. I have read no where that this is a issue except on a form that a guy was going to have Crane build him a roller cam and the thrust plate was mentioned.
Thanks for any info.

Re: Engine Blocks
No, you are fine. You just need to replace the thrust plate and its bolts with the earlier timing set (what years is your cloyes for?) and Mopar bolt kit #83502890, which has the cam bolt, the spring and the dowel.
