Also, is there enough material to bore it out to 68mm? I hope the housing is about the same size as stock cause with the Hesco aluminum head the valve cover is VERY close.
anyone done this??
thanks

Re: Will f&B 68mm throttle body fit on avenger blower???
Do not know about the avenger fit, but I do have a tb that was bored and polished to just below 64MM. I don't think much more could be removed and leave enough strength, and I don't know if every one could be taken that far? Oletshot will hopefully add his thoughts before long.

Edited to add: larger TB's can be adapted to fit our intake manifold and adapters are not that difficult, you also might remove the top portion of a oem unit turn a step on the od and sleeve the outside of the TB to end with a 68mm id. then take a look at increasing the diameter of the lower portion to this size? I will take a look tomorrow with one in hand????????????

Re: Will f&B 68mm throttle body fit on avenger blower???
thanks for the reply,
the throttle body in question is a billet CNC job from f&b it has a 68mm opening in WHO knows what size housing. I am short on clearance from the higher valve cover from the hesco head. Also Avenger emailed me that I can bore the blower housing out to 68mm and expect 10 - 12 hp more. So I think will give it a try. I bored my stock unit out years ago, worked great. But i think the butterfly should have been enlarged, and maybe affecting my vacumn activated controls: boost a pump, vortech super fmu, blower bypass switch. I have no real computer mods ( apexi neo) and rely on vacumn a lot.
