Redline?
What is is safe to spin our motors to? I hear all kinds of things about 2nd order harmonics and I know they nose off pretty quick in general above 5k, but with my ported head, I find myself banging it off the rev limiter pretty much every time in 1st because it's still pulling now. I'm about to get my tune from Ryan (I think) and I'm not sure what he is going to set the limiter at, but what is safe? I'd like to try at least 5.3-5.4k just to see if it's still pulling up there--at least in first.

Re: Redline?
The info I have is from 1969 so?, "a third order torsional vibration peak at 5400-5500 RPM", they say to NOT operate the engine at that RPM for any longer than to drive thru it.
You can get more power out of ANY engine!!!

Re: Redline?
Just run your Jeep on a dyno and set the rev limiter at 500rpm beyond peak HP.
