Cool. Sounds worthwhile at least. We'll have to see if it makes a difference on the jeep. I have a fairly simple (and cheesy) plan for the plumbing, don't know if it's going to work so I'll wait to post it lest I get laughed out of here.Post by SkylinesSuck » November 15th, 2017, 2:26 am
I have driven the same dual scroll turbo with both a divided pulse style manifold and without. There was several hundred rpm worth of spool difference. In a remote mount setup though, I doubt it will matter.

Clutch was too trashed to work after being put back in. Should've just dropped the cash with the engine out, but nooooo. Ripped the trans and tcase out two weekends ago, got them painted(!) last weekend, should be ready to go in next weekend. I had a leak hopefully from the trans output seal as others have had and wanted to address that as well.
Figured there would be no better time to swap over the 99+ intake I had sitting forlornly on the shelf and do a wrap or coating on the header. After blasting and trying to polish the intake, I cheated and painted it with aluminum color engine paint.

Painted the hood, cowl, grille (which I knocked on the ground tonight and chipped a chunk off of

Painted the valve cover tonight because, well, you know, can't have the jeep lookin crappy. PO of the engine globbed rtv all over the sealing surface though causing leaks, so I guess I did something functional as well.
Jeep is getting close to roadworthy, though I'm satisfied just making consistent progress. Next on the docket is pulling out the condenser as it's just blocking flow now, putting everything back on the engine, doing the seals and refilling the trans and tcase, and putting those back in.
Once that's done the party can begin for real!

Pics to follow.
