Re: Newbie to the forum
The engine is a 4.7 Renix that I bought from S&J out of Spokane. It's going in an '88 YJ along with an NV3350 tranny.SkylinesSuck wrote:Welcome! Details on the motor?

This is gorgeous. It's a shame I don't have engine mount options like this for my American. This is the kind of quality I need in the heart of my wagon.

I've got the same FiTech unit on my Cutlass and love it! Fired right up first try.

Re: Newbie to the forum
Oh, I'm curious how this is setup. The dash looks nice and clean. Tach and speedo, no distractions.
Center console has fuel, water temp, clock, voltage, oil pressure and I'm guessing a digital a:f gauge.
How are your rocker switches setup? SPST? SPDT? DPDT? I like how they're all uniform. It looks like you use a master/slave node style approach when it comes to accessories with power to the accessory and then engage/disengage options. Everyone has offroad lights so I won't bother about this but I have to ask why an external horn button when you could just integrate the usual driving horn into your steering wheel button?
The battery button is a nice touch as well. Is this for a backup reserve?

Re: Newbie to the forum
You’re testing me on my limited electrical knowledge. I believe all rocker switches are SPST except for the “winch in / winch out” and battery switch. The horn was an extra slot when designing the layout. I threw an extra slot in ther in case I wanted to add an additional switch in the future. For now, it’s hooked up to my air horns. The regular horn is still in the steering wheel. I’m using this charging relay for the dual battery setup. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001V ...
