I was testing out a few PCMs to see which ones work. I have one from a 93 or 94 4.0 that just throws a code 31 cause my 95 engine harness doesn't use an evap solenoid, but it'll probably be good to keep just in case my current one stops turning on my Jeep.
The other is a PCM with the number 56027488 that I believe has a security shut-off, because it runs for maybe a second, and then it shuts off. I don't have a security module on my harness, so I was wondering if that PCM is pretty much junk to me, or can I bypass it somehow by fooling the PCM? Do I need to ground a wire?
1992 pcm with security shut off?
