I have had my stroker for a couple months and so far so good. It is a Do and operates great. I Drove it for a couple hour, hi way drive, on a 100 degree day. And I ran about 220 most of the way. it has a tendency to run warm / but so does my friends stock 96 with leaky everything. .Lol
I have a new aftermarket dual row, (regrettably cheap) all aluminum radiator. Supposedly for HD TOWING. Lol .Got me!
This is an off road jeep that I am going to be doing long hi way driving in the mountains, sometimes with a medium trailer and load.
There is a whole OTHER World about radiators and what works best for your application. Rows, surface area, flow rate, type of metal. BRAND. Thermostat temp?..
What can you teach me

I have a cheapo autozone one after having 2 champion american eagle all-aluminums fail. Mopar HD for 99+ cherokee is the one to get.

I'm running a stock 2-row HD radiator, stock water pump, JET 180* t'stat, and dual electric fans. On the highway mine runs at 180*F as long as the ambient temp. isn't higher than 90*F. Thereafter the coolant temp. stays at ambient + 90*F. and the oil temp. stays at ambient +60*F.
Just make sure that you flush the cooling system every 2 years and check the condition of the hoses, especially the lower radiator hose. If the spring inside that hose has rusted away, the hose can collapse under the suction generated by the water pump and restrict coolant flow.

Hi I have. A 4.6 stroker.
It has a two row bras and copper rad, hi flow pump, 195 thermostat, Taurus fan, I use rmi 25 coolent additive in deminerlised water as coolent. No glycol- it does not freeze here.
Worked realy well except when Towing a heavy trailer in the australian summer then it would overheat, ie hotter than 110*c.
Once i pulled over the temp would struggle to come down. So I put a 13mm restrictor in the top hose and it runs significantly cooler.
Now at idle and the taurus fan on low and the aux fan running(the Taurus is slaved to the aux)I can have 106*c water going into the radator and 46*c water coming out. Also driving around town the fans don't come on nearly as much as they used to.

I would try a FlowKooler water pump and a Robertshaw 180 thermostat.
That combination works for me.

I have a CSF dual row radiator, stock water pump, 195* t-stat. Never gets above 215*, even in 100* heat with the AC on.

Tried the All Aluminum 3 core and it blew up after a few weeks and Will not go back to one...
