#7 main journal size
Anyone know the reason the #7 main journal is supposed to be .0005-.002 smaller than the rest?

When you're hanging a clutch or converter off the back of the crankshaft it's important to be on the upper end of the oil clearance tolerance

Got it. So, at 2.4898 should I get it reworked?

You should be good.
Just verify your putting a .010 under bearing in it and check the oil clearance. I'm guessing you should be around .0025

BTW, if I didn't tell you already, these pistons and rods you sent me look great, very nice!
