Which Carb?

Post by Ohio Scrambler »

Hi Guys

Im in the process of putting together a 4.7 stroker which is going into a 83 Scrambler. With that said I would like to keep a carb on it and my question is would a 4brl be to much? I was looking at a clifford intake and header with a holly Truck Avenger 470 or would a MC2150 Be enough carb? Any advice is welcome!

Thanks Jared

if you are going to stay with a carb then I would use the Holly 470. they are a good carb and simple to work on and tune.

Holley 390 if you have to , two barrel holley 1.08 venturi. The best is a 400 cfm four barrel carter afb !!! I have two and might let it go for 300. Impossible to find but by far !!! The best.
