Wow, I'll never use voice text ever again. Sorry. I think I got the point across however .I am going to move intake temp sensor to air intake tube. Anyone know the missing pieces I can do... Considering cps mod, but seems confusing ,would rather re program my ecm

What year? What injectors are you using?
Different dynos are different dynos. What was your Torque?
What are the specs of your engine build? Head? Cam? Exhaust/headers?
I think all those big HP numbers the engine builders are with all other supporting mods. Open air inlet, bored throttle body, no engine accessories, bigger injectors, aftermarket headers, free flowing exhaust.

Need more info. 1) Air filter and air box, 2) Throttle body size, 3) exhaust header, 4) exhaust down pipe, cat, muffler and tail pipe size, 5) Tune, 6) Injectors, 7) Whats the AFR like.
Also, keep in mind most dynos don't read alike and its not easy to get crank hp from a wheel dyno.

Re: 4.7 stroker tuning. 2001 obd11.. Fuel/timing /programmin
1) spectre cone filter with half aluminum and half rubber tubing, pcv is vented behind filter.2)62mm throttle body. 3) stainless obx header (not ported at weld seem.4)stock exhaust from header to tail pipe(for now)5)no tune as it is nearly impossible to find someone who can tap in to something this old 6)24 lb injectors 7) af ratio is lean. Best is about 14 :1 at wot. I am moving intake temp sensor behind. Air filter this weekend ... It is a 2001 like I said. California emissions. And ecu is from what I've gathered, factory and staying that way unless I have another grand $ sitting around.

I don't remember torque # I'll check tomorrow and update. I want to say 220ft lb. But don't hold me to it

I'll also add build specs tomorrow, I.had to write it down because, let's just say the company I bought it from better make a damn good engine due to their terrible customer service.

Re: 4.7 stroker tuning. 2001 obd11.. Fuel/timing /programmin
Hazard a guess and say your runs are short enough that your not reaching beyond the WOT open loop fuel trim delay. Thus actual AFR @ WOT is much richer. Your just not in it long enough for the ECM to richen up the mixture.
If it was a chassis dyno were you able to do a clean run in 1/1 (3rd gear) ?
With parasitic losses that may be all your going to get at the wheels. In my early stroker days i made a series of pulls. Look that thread up. Since then a few changes have been made and the numbers bumped quite a bit for both my customers and myself.' Proprietary info..........
Still need the build specs.
Again, if you search this forum you will come up with folks whom have made dyno pulls. At this point your numbers are not that far off.
***EDIT*** Your profile states the engine is from 505. We should have guessed when you made the comment that the CS sucks. LOL, you should be happy it even runs rather then worrying about the power level.
Sorry dude...........

HIgh flow cats would help too and those pre cats aren't helping anythingBriancolirad wrote:4)stock exhaust from header to tail pipe(for now)

That isn't good.7) af ratio is lean. Best is about 14 :1 at wot.
You should have probably mentioned that first. 505 isn't known for quality or being honest.jsawduste wrote:***EDIT*** Your profile states the engine is from 505. Re: 4.7 stroker tuning. 2001 obd11.. Fuel/timing /programmin
Ok, that aside.... The motor sounds good. I just want my 5k worth.. Here is the engine specs to my knowledge.. Keep in mind I'm here to learn, I've never built an engine and am just learning everything about engine specs etc... My stock engine had a cracked 0331 head and I've been building my jeep so I decided if I'm dropping money to fix a stock 4.0 ,might as well get more ponies so I can tow with it too..
9:1 compression
Ported head (used 0331 cast, claims it's stronger than stock)
Block is decked
Custom forged pistons 10 in hole
4340 rods
Roller rockers
Cam..211 int /217 [email protected] on a 114 (stage 2)

Re: 4.7 stroker tuning. 2001 obd11.. Fuel/timing /programmin
To j sawdust... Yes I belive so,They let her rip can't confirm tho. And regarding Af ratio.. I'm at hi 14s till I reach about 3.5 rpm, then it's hi 13s of average of 3 pulls
Max torque was 208.5 @about 3.5k
Max hp was 154 @ 4k!!??
CONCERN. .. Lines are jumpy in hp and tq.. Not solid incline Lile I would expect

Re: 4.7 stroker tuning. 2001 obd11.. Fuel/timing /programmin
Fairly typical cam duration wise. No lift numbers but I am guessing 450/470 ish.
114 LSA is a bit on the high side but usable.
10 in the hole mean that at TDC the piston is still .010 from the deck surface ? Any idea of what the head gasket thickness is ?
The 0331 head isn't the best flowing head out there but it works. If you look around this site you will find good information on the aftermarket 0331 heads. Including flow numbers and various volumes that can be used to at least baseline what you have.
Given what we know your numbers may not be all that far out of line. The TQ in particular is a bit low.
Yes a good tune on the ECM would be a big help but with that combination of parts don't expect miracles.
IMHO
