New lifter prepping
So I get this right the third time.... do you just soak the for a length of time or dunk them in oil and pump them with a lifter first or what. Thanks

Submerge the lifter in oil.......... I do overnight but that`s just me.........Then using a wooden or plastic pushrod the plunger is depressed several times to expel any air bubbles. Another soak in the oil for a few minutes and then into the engine.
Use the break in oil your going to run to soak the lifters. Thereafter a "high" zinc content oil. Brad Penn is my oil of choice. 10w-30 is fine.
Follow the cam break in procedure.
