OBII engine management ?

Post by Zorm »

anyone have their stroker using the OBII system? Right now I have the OBI system from a 92 Cherokee. May be moving to the OBII system because I might be putting in a turbo after I get the engine running correctly. If you are using the OBII system 95 and newer I think, did you need to do anything extra to run the engine or even to tune it?

thanks

Even if you go turbo, you could stick to your OBD1 ECU and use a 2-bar MAP sensor together with a programmable piggyback computer such as the Split Second FTC.
