Good day gents. Still getting things worked out on this build http://www.jeepstrokers.com/forum/viewt ... =15&t=2860. Any way, I started to lean towards taking out this stroker and put in a ford 351W with ford tranny and xfr case. While I was on the hunt, found a few superchargers.
So questions;
#1 I guess, for you that have built a stroker and put it in to a 2000 or newer Jeep, what did you need to do if you kept the stock ecm and wire harness, if they did not work, what did you do? I am also looking at maby using the coil pack rail and the dizzy sensor thingy, can or has this been done.
#2 Is anyone out there has done the Eaton supercharger addition and it was not a kit, meaning you built it, and put it on a 1999 or newer Jeep, what did you need to do as far as engine management / vac lines?
#3 would it be easier to use OBI wire harness with say a Mega Squirt ECU or OBII engine wire harness and a Mega Squirt ecu?
What I would like to have at the end of all this have a driving 83 Cherokee that is good on street and trail, have same or more power then a stock AMC 360 or even the stock ford 351w but not the weight of the v8's. Of course, opening up the hood and have that cool factor would be nice too.
thanks for thoughts
