Camshaft confusion

I don't want a wild cam for my 4.7 stroker so I'm looking for a little imput. I'm keeping stock pushrods to make my build simple so I'm looking for a cam with just a little more kick. Any suggestions ?

The camshaft that I use and sell most is Comp Cams 68-232-4
I'll use it in my mild builds. The 113 degree lobe separation angle helps to maintain manifold vacuum
and is the biggest cam to run if you still choose to run stock valve springs.

Thank you Russ I was looking at that one. I decided to play it safe and go with a stock 91-95 cam. On a side note since you are the only one that answers my questions lol I decided to go with the 258 crank, 4.0 rods, and the custom piston route you were talking about. Hopefully you know what I need and have them available to sell. The blocked isn't decked but is level and flat according to the block shop. I'm guessing I need the .43 headgasket idk know my ass from a hole in the ground but I'm trying to learn. Thanks Russ

Back on the camshaft hunt again. Like Russ recommended the comp cam 68-232-4 sounds like a plan. The problem is its not for a 99 block ! Now what ?

Convert to the spring and pin. Simple to do.

Yes. Have the factory parts in stock.

Bolt, spring and pin are less then 10 bucks.
I convert everything to the early set up primarily because the good roller timing sets are only available in this style.

A stroker isn't any more difficult than building a 4.0.
Figure out what your budget is. Do your research. There's plenty of information on this site, and people willing to help.

In the end you'll be happy you made the decision to upgrade to a stroker.
