Hey master strokers, i'm lost on my 4.7 build

Alright heres where I'm at. I have my 99 block bored 60 over, stock 4.0 rods and pistons, 4.2 rods and pistons and crank but what now ??? quench height , block decking, cam selection. So what do I need to do here ? I know the 4.2 crank I'm using as well as the rods. The crank is an 1981 with a serpentine belt routing. I'm just lost so any imput on parts or questions I'll help you out to help me. Thanks

If you're looking to do a 258 crank and rod combination I have a CNC program
that allows me to trace and lower the existing dish of a cast replacement 242 piston.
That gives you a low-cost alternative for a piston while still maintaining a zero deck and tight quench.

Alright Russ that's a start thanks. The info on the web is overwhelming and very partial. I'm guessing stock 4.0 pistons are too tall. My new friend actually is a machinest. What does he need from you I guess ? Thanks man

A answer to your general question.
Utilizing the stock 258 5.875 connecting rod with a 2229 Silvolite piston
with my CNC 22cc volume mirror dome dish you'll be close to a 9.5 static
with a 9.404 deck height. Your engine machinist will be removeing about .050
from the deck of the block.

I sell the dished Silvolites for $200.00 a set
and my custom forged Pistons start at $425.00
