Attention Engine builders. Piston skirt clearance?
I know forged pistons are louder on start up than cast or Hypers but I am wondering what the preferred clearance is for good street performance? They are 4032 forged pistons for a 4.0 rod and 4.2 crankshaft and metric moly ring package. Whats the magic number?

Best bet is to ask the piston manufacturer. Clearances can vary from piston to piston.
