Piston ring preference?

Post by nicpaige »

Okay all you veteran stroker builders, what brand, style and size rings do you swear by for a street driven, limited off road 4.6 litre stroker automatic.
I can get whatever ring groove size as these are custom pistons.
Metric or ASE groove size?
Top Ring face = Moly or Chrome or Iron
Gapped or gapless?
Sealed Power, Wiseco, Mahle, Total Seal?

Thanks for any responses

Having trouble finding Total Seal in metric sizes. How about 1/16" x 1/16" x 3/16"
