Can I get away with Neon 703 injectors?

Post by ben824 »

Hey guys I'm in the planning stages of a stroker build and my budget is fairly tight trying to get it all done since I have to pay someone else to do it since I don't have the time or the means to get it done myself. So here is my question, I was running Neon 703 injectors on my 4.0 before it broke a wrist pin. I am looking to do a Russ Pottenger build of 4.7L on 87 octane. Let me know if you need more info to make that call. Thanks in advance for helping out a newb!

What year is your Jeep?
The NEON 703 injectors flow 21.4lb/hr at 39psi and 24.0lb/hr at 49psi, so they'll be OK if you have a '96+ 49psi fuel system but too small if you have an '87-'95 39psi fuel system.

My Jeep is a 97 so I would have the 49 PSI. Are you sure it would be 24 lbs? I thought they were rated at like 19 lbs at 43.5 psi? I don't know the math to see what they would be at 49 psi.
