Has anyone installed the 255 pump I'm having some trouble with the install

What sort of problems? Any pics?
How much power is that 255 pump good for?

Well they have you replace just the pump in the factory unit and mine didn't come with any instructions. I was wondering if you have to leave the bottom of the unit off or something cuz the 255 mounts a little different. And it's says it should be good to 600 hp

I had a Walbro 255 lph in my '96 up to a month ago, when I swapped in a newer '97-01 plastic tank with pump. The Walbro bolted right in. I can take a pic of it if you ask(tank is out front atm). It is definitely whinier.

Mine is a 99 but I couldn't figure out how it went in maybe I just got to wrong screen cuz it doesn't look right

Did yours come with 2 square screens or 1 kinda round one I may have gotten the kit for the old steel tank
