Very interesting, Do let us know. Get them to dyno that beast!

ok here's the pics. that's a stock 4.7 throttlebody and as you can see i had to extend the linkage connectors about 3/4" to 1" and modify the stop. this is a renix jeep so i have a throttle cable closest to the tb, the cruise control cable in the middle and the tranny kick down cable on the far left. i cut the tranny kick down cable bracket off the renix throttlebody and just figured out where it needed to be and tacked it in place. the throttle cable attachment and cruise control attachment i also cut off the renix throttlebody measured to see where it needed to be then welded up. it ugly and it's rusting but it works

Im just starting to look for a donor vehicle to snag a throttle body from, but I did run across this video on YouTube where a guy modifies the 4.7 TB to fit his 4.0. Its well within my comfort level, but I spent a lot more time on my Master Cylinder because I didn't look for a better donor.

Aaaaanyway, here's the video:

I finally got around to installing the 68mm 4.7l TB and I love the mid-toprange pull! I had the fastman 62mm tb with half-shaft and k&n fipk tube with Amsoil eaau3090 filter on previously. The ID of the fipk at the tb is 2.25", so was the main bottleneck in the setup. I bought a 3.25"-3.5" "jdm" silicone 90* for $16, a $38 AEM/Mopar 3.5" cone filter, a maneuverable, 90* 4" ID aluminum dryer vent from Lowes for $4, and also two 4" worm clamps for $3. I left the 65mm bottleneck above the plate in. Somewhere down the line I might get it opened to 70mm. Thumbs up for strokers. 3" v-bands on the way to modify the NOS Clifford header I picked up. Breathe baby!
