Are the harland sharp the only rockers that fit under the stock valve cover? or do the crower's fit also.
If I read the modifications for the harland's you need to mill off .400 from the head where the rocker mounts to make them fit, does this cause any problems with valve train geometry?

I expect you'd need shorter pushrods but I can't be sure of that. The problems become more complex when you deviate further away from stock engine specs, and that's why I chose the Yella Terras; to keep things simple and avoid valvetrain geometry issues.

I used crower roller rockers, and they fit under the stock valve cover. I wouldn't remove .400 from the rocker bosses. Check with your machinist. I removed .400 from my rocker bosses. I had plenty of clearance, so I probably got away with .150-.250. With removing .400 it doesn't leave much thread engagement on the adjusting nuts.

If it's the cam with 240 degrees advertised duration and 0.43" lift, that's so mild that I wouldn't even bother going higher than 1.6's.

Not sure I understand this statement completely. If its a mild cam wouldnt the 1:7 units give it more lift? Im thinking of ways to justify the yella terras, but not if its only to get rid of a small tick. Thats what the stereo is for.

A Mild cam will respond to the 1.7RR BETTER than an aggressive cam. The softer ramp angle and lower peak lift will allow for longer cam life and quieter operation.

Thing is, with a stock-ish like cam, proper length push-rods on the STOCK rocker arms will be the quietest and most reliable setup you can run. ALSO, you don't have to mess with your valve cover...

well i was kinda hoping somebody has used the crowers arms and could have responded please? After 7 years would be a really good idea of wear and durability wouldn't you think?

His build thread shows pictures of the setup as well as the fact that they need guide plates. They are not linked like HS or YT rockers.
