2004 chevy injector work for stroker build?

Post by nicpaige »

A friend of mine had a set of OEM injectors off of a 2004 5.3 litre Suburban non-flex fuel engine. I believe these are rated at 24lbs/hr and that seems to be the go to size for a 4.6 stroker build. I am having a hard time finding out specifics on this injector and whether it will work with my 2000 XJ stroker build I am just beginning. Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks

Do you have any part numbers off the injectors? How long have they been sitting and how have they been stored?

Well it looks as if this is a no go. I finally found a description and they look like they are flex fuel 36# injectors. They all have 14.7 resistence readings but a little big for my build. I will probably end up with some 24# FMS injectors.
