Gear set up
i am need some advice on set up my gear in my 94 yj wrangler . I am running a 4.6 stroker with a ax15 trans with np231 case with 33 inch tires. I am not really worried about gas mileage . I love to do trail riding, and it also my daily driver so I thought about using 4.56 gears . What do you guys think ?

Re: Gear set up
I think 4.56 is unnecessarily short given that you have the extra torque of a stroker, so I'd suggest 4.10.
I'm running stock 27.4" sized tires and still have the stock 3.07 gears. Your tires are 20% bigger so theoretically you could even go 3.73s, but with the extra weight and higher drag coefficient the 4.10s would definitely work better.

Re: Gear set up
I've been running a 4.6/AX15 with 31's with 3.73's for 5 years now and love it. 1st gear is nice and low, barely have to clutch it from a stop. It tows excellent! 5th is right under 2000rpm at 60mph. I can get 19-20 on hiway if I stay under 70mph. 4.10's with 33's will put you right into that ballpark. Agreed with previous post, 4.56 is a bit deep for 33's on a daily driver.

Re: Gear set up
I have 4.56 with 32" tires on my stroker. I wish I had 4.10 or 3.73 instead. 55MPH is pretty much my maximum to get decent gas mileage.
