I wonder if they can still get the parts for that. Personally I would ditch the Bendix system for a 95+ booster and MC.
I did clean the TB bore really well since it was so junked up from all of the oil due to the blow-by from my old engine.
I'll call the dealership when I get back home and see if the "lifetime warranty" on the Bendix pump is actually valid. They need my VIN number and I don't have it with me. Right now, I just want to have someone else do the work (for free) so I can stop the thing. Someday, when I'm all caught up on my various projects, I might try tackling the brake swap.

I am aware of this. That was in reference to the "even better" comment. Someone on NAXJA did the 95+ to the WJ booster and MC and claimed it was a huge difference. So, I tried it. He must have had a problem with his system original as it is no improvement over the 95+ setup.

Another issue I'm going to have to deal with is that my brakes aren't working - very hard pedal and nearly ineffective. Kinda makes me nervous taking it for a test drive. I've been having rare issues with the Bendix pump not coming on consistently. Now it's not coming on at all so I guess I will be calling the dealers hoping for that "lifetime warranty" I've been reading about. It's always something...
Did they work before? How much vacuum do you have? Perhaps this is related to the failure to idle?

Usually it worked but I had begun having problems with the pump intermittently not kicking on. I haven't put a vacuum gauge on it yet, but I did replace both vacuum harnesses and double-checked everything. Unfortunately, I am out of town now, and only had enough time to break-in the cam and take it for a short test drive. I get back tomorrow night, so Saturday I can check all the connections and the relay to the Bendix pump as well as all engine related connections.
I cleaned the IAC but it was pretty clean. Apparently, my Jeep has started to learn that it has a new motor because it started to run better and is now running really well - no more low idle and dying. It's got good oil pressure and the water temperature has come back down to near normal.
I don't think it is developing as much power as it should due to the '90 intake manifold on the '94 head. (dogleg ports vs. round head ports) I think it is restricted in its breathing and is creating a wicked amount of turbulence. I think I will go with a '99 or newer intake manifold, and a '94 TB connected to my '90 TPS using Hesco's Renix adapter. Does anyone have any experience with this set-up? Is there anything else I will need to do?
