Every single cylinder wall is this bad... I mean when the poor thing is this bad you can't just throw everything back together...went into this just planning a valve job, head gasket but Everything is basically shot. Definitely a bummer. It had stock valve springs.

If you said you were running the comp cam, I ran the 68-232-4 for fuel injected motors...almost 30 k no issues...Stock springs will not work on that cam. I ran mopar perf springs..I will go up into the attic tomorrow and try to find those numbers but I know stock springs cannot handle the lift on the comp cams...besides the scuffing..the piston looked cleanish. I ran a compression check on mine a few weeks back..do a search for stroker compression numbers by woodjeep..I ran in the 180's across the board, I also run silvolites with no problems

Man that stinks. I know how you feel I lost stroker #1 due to the failure of the same comp cam. The metal in the oil eats up the cylinder walls and bearing surfaces. Mine was properly broken in on Joe Gibbs break-in oil etc. The issue turned out to be the head I ordered complete from Titan Engines had #134 on seat pressure vs. say #90. The other thing to be certain of when you rebuild it again is to hone the lifter bores and test them to ensure they spin (rotate) freely. I had Lunati grind a cam and nitride it for me. (after my dismal 505 experience) Good luck with the rebuild, hopefully you wont have to do it 2 or 3 times like I have :(
