Broken Stroker, Crank end play is 1/8" out of spec. Help

I wonder if the crank was out of spec...thrust bearing surface too wide. I have read that some of the scat cranks have been out of spec (bearing surfaces).

That crank is definitely out of spec. Next time pull one from an AMC.

My first 4.6 build was done by western engine supply. I got it back with the lower and upper end assembled. I did not see the thrust surface on my first build. New crank and bearings are in. New engine sounds amazing. For sale! 2001XJ Limited 4.6 stoker.
