Use the 68-231-4 cam instead unless you're planning to run your engine at high rpm for extended periods.jeepsluvmud wrote:I want a cam that sounds like i have a cam in the engines lol the rep from comp cams says i can run a 68-239-4 but i would lose to much vaccum.
The MAP sensor-based speed density fuel management system in our Jeeps doesn't like big cams and the low vacuum will cause very poor idle quality.
If you're intent on using the 68-239-4 cam anyway, I suggest you contact FlyinRyan who can reprogram your ECU to cope with the bigger cam.
