I about to drop this motor in this weekend. But I need to figure out what injectors I should run. Thinking about 24lb Ford ev6 injectors. This a good starting point?

Why yes it is. When I got the motor from Gerald it had a melted piston in #6. So I'm try to keep that from happening again.

Well, I won a set of brand new Bosch 27lb ev6 injectors on Ebay. $38 for six. For that price I couldn't pass them up.

Drove it for the first time this weekend. Had Chris tune it and ended up with a set of Ford 27lb injectors. Runs great. It's spin the 37's and barks the tires into 2nd. Very happy with the power. Only issue was a oil leak at valve cover. Not sure what it will take to fix. The Hesco head casting is different and the gasket doesn't line up at the rear.

Looking good Mike !
Glad to see that Chris was able to help you out with tuning.

As ridiculous as it sounds I still have a 50/50 chance of making it to the lakebed. Be staying with Blaine, Gerald Lee and the gang if I make it. I`ll be looking for you if so.

Keep us posted on how it works out.

Maybe give Bennie a call on the gasket. They ought to have a solution.

I have the factory 2000 steel cover on there now. I have a Crown aluminum cover but the holes don't line up so I haven't tried that one.
Using the blue rubber felpro gaskets.

Thanks

Well I killed the Hesco stroker  Got about 50 miles out of her.

So after talking with some people that know a lot more about strokers than myself. Thanks John. I'm building a new motor that should have a good mix of power, torque and run a little longer than 50 miles.

Specs
95 block bored .030 over and the deck cleaned up
7120 head with LS valves and springs with a little cleaning
SCAT crank
SCAT forged rods
Set of custom Diamond pistons to get a zero deck height
Roller rockers and a Hesco cam
Double roller
Hesco oil pump
OBDII with a coil pack
ECM will be tuned by Chris
Borla Headers
2001 intake
62mm TB
The motor will be blue printed and balanced. As soon as I pick the block up I will start the build.

Haven't pulled the hesco apart yet. I lost it pre-running 3 days before KOH. I lost a fuel pump and think it went lean. Didn't have a air/fuel gauge. That's going to change

SCAT just released rods.
