Aussie Stroker

G'day guys and girls,

I've been thinking about getting more get up and go outta my TJ for awhile now, I've read quite a bit, especially on the different options of stroker level avaliable, and I've come to a conclusion as to what I want to hit.

My goal, is 400HP minimum at the wheels.

I'm looking at building a stroker, and chucking a charger ontop (Magnum Powers have a charger kit designed for the TJ, they reckon it can run at 20PSI)

So on that note, I was hoping you guys and girls could steer me in the right directions in terms of parts to handle the forces I'm looking at. (There's a potential to bolt in a Nitrous system, for those 'I Feel The Need... The Need For Speed' moments)

I've read through countless build options, and I figure where best to come than the experts.

I'd love to be able to walk into a shop here, and get them to help out, but Jeeps really aren't a big thing in Australia, and most mechanics I've seen about general work on the Jeep, their eyes gloss over in confusion... So I can't imagine what talking to them about engine work would be like..

That, ontop of having to import my parts from the US, I'd like to have a set define list of parts, to ensure my build goes smoothly, painlessly as possible, and without taking 18 months...

Hopefully you are thinking of upgrading everything else behind and in front of that engine because nothing stock will handle that kind of power for long except Dana44s

505 is one company I would stay from. Out of several customers I have only heard of one that has been happy with what they received. Not to mention the mess of a "ported and polished" from them I have seen recently.

I only got parts and advice from them and it was all good. I got all the bottom end done by the machine shop. I was happy with the parts they helped me choose.
From all my research, when going for torque, Leave the head alone except for valve job.
