So I had the jeep dynoed, and based on many cars running that day, along with y know info, and cheromaniacs info I believe that the calibration numbers might be a little bit off.
I dynoed 220 HP, 260 TQ. those are very similar numbers to cheromaniacs but Im traction limited at over a second faster in the 1/4. To me that either means I have super magical driving skills, or the dyno was a bit off.
Based on what a few stock cars were making we gathered that the dyno was reading at approx 75%. which would put me closer to 300rwhp/350rwtq which I think makes my numbers and track times make a little bit more sense.
Personally it doesnt really matter to me, because if I would have made 60rwhp that doesnt change the fact that its a low 13s jeep. same goes if I made 700+whp, the times are all that matter. I just felt that the numbers were a little low, and figured I would get your opinion on the situation.

Re: Dyno results
Your numbers sound exactaly right. Close to 300 crank hp and 220rwhp.
My old Syclone with about 320 crank HP ran 13.1sec.

Re: Dyno results
I was just basing my idea off of what other people people have done, and made on here, especially ones with similar setups. With that, so far cheromaniac has the closest HP/TQ numbers, on the same platform, with similar weight and Im over a second faster, even more so if I could get traction. I have some HUGE problems with my setup right now, and thats another reason im still not really too worried about it, but figured Id throw it out there. I know once I get everything sorted, Ill have at least another 50+rwhp, and high 12s. I should be at about 13.2ish right now.

Re: Dyno results
The dyno was off. Your 1/4 mile trap speed is nearly 6mph faster than mine and your Jeep is heavier, so I'd say you have well over 240rwhp and if your Jeep weighs 4500lb with you in it, you could have as much as 300rwhp.mountaineerjeff wrote:I dynoed 220 HP, 260 TQ. those are very similar numbers to cheromaniacs but Im traction limited at over a second faster in the 1/4. Re: Dyno results
thats what I was thinking. Im not that heavy, But I also think im a bit faster than 13.4@100, that pass is from over a year ago, and the dyno was just done.
I plan on getting it re-done once I get my setup finished, from the beginning one of my estimations was 400rwtq so hopefully I can pull that off. with a stroker it would already be done, but my TQ numbers are a lot lower than you guys, due to the fact that im still a 4.0L
