adj fuel reg or just wideband 02 sensor

Post by Zorm »

Ok, still getting things together for this 4.6 stroker. see my question above. Can I get by with just a wideband 02 and gauge with the adj map voltage ckt? if so, any good WB 02 sensors that don't cost an arm and a leg.

I don't see a problem with aside from no data logging. However it does have an output to link it to an external logger. I like data logging because I can do a WOT pull and then review the logs to see where fuel needs to be pulled or added and then go from there. I'm not a fan of watching the gauge during WOT.

That's the wideband I have and it works great. You can output to a computer or similar if you felt the need to.
If it feels right, then STROKE it!

Muad'Dib, how did you wire it? The one I am looking is used, kid had it for a few moths. He said it has 5 wires in a 6 wire connector. I am trying to find a schematic so when I go look at it, I can ohm out some wires and see if its good, ahy ideas?

another thought on a adj fuel regulator. Don't feel like paying 200+ for one that mounts to the older style fuel rail. What about keeping my 2000 fuel rail and get a stand alone adjustable regulator, then use the return line from it. So, If I go that way, would I use the 2000 injectors or keep my ford 24lb ones?

It comes with proprietary connectors that snap together. Really all you have to wire is Power and Ground and they are labeled in the manual.
