Hey guys!
Just built a new stroker and am planning on putting it in my yj that previously had a 4.2. What should i use for wiring and computer? Anyone got something that i can buy?? I tried buying the painless kit but the no longer make it.

Re: Wiring a new Stroker
You need to buy a complete donor jeep. Especially if you need mounts, pulleys, brackets, intake, injecter rail, etc... etc... etc... Then you will have everything you need for a conversion, regardless of year or model. 91-95 yj, 91- 96 cherokee , 93-96 grand(without security) or even the renix will do. The harnesses can be easily condensed to eliminate alot of wires. A good wire diagram, solder, heatshrink, and patience are necessities.

I would go to the JY and get the PCM and wiring harness w/sensors from a '91-95 4.0l YJ.
