Quick question: Is .016" for the top ring and .020" for the second a good choice for KB 944 pistons?
I have the 40 over pistons, So 3.915".

0.016" is perfect for a 0.004" ring end gap factor. "Street Normally Aspirated"
The second ring end gap factor is a minimum of 0.004", so again 0.016" would be fine, but 0.020" is fine as well.
If you bought the kit that comes with the rings it then the second rings are probably already 0.020". All my first rings started off at 0.016".
