The old style composite OEM HG is 0.051" but I believe the new multilayer steel HG is 0.043".

Re: head gasket options?
Sure would be nice if there was a wider range of thicknesses available to fine tune our compression ratios!

I believe the felpro 530sd is .052" compressed. Am currently running with over 10.5 : 1 compression

Re: head gasket options?
You would need longer push rods and quench would be non-existent. Better just to build the engine the way it needs to be built for the intended compression.
