Ok I got my stoker in my jeep Saturday and it runs great. Running 24psi injectors.. But it's running lean.. I have a built map adjuster. But how do you hook it up? It's a 93 Yj.. I looked all around line and they really don't tell you much. Thought you guys would know.. Thanks alot.. Woody

How do you know its running lean? What do you consider lean? And when is it running lean?

Well it run's great. Plugs are like burning a light gray line on then. Or light brown. Tale pipe in black. So looks rich there.. So not really to sure. Just don't want to mess this motor up..

Then spend the $200 or so for a wideband O2 sensor and use that to know and adjust your AFR. After, you can sell it in 1 day for $150.
It will save your engine and the net $50 will be money well spent.

Anyone know what wire on the map sensor you hook up the adjustable map sensor to? One is ground. One 12v. And the other one goes to the map sensor.. But what wire?? If you know please let me know thanks.

You can't tell much from looking at a spark plug on a fuel injected engine. Then only immediately after a WOT run. Floor it, wind it out then kill it even before the engine drops to idle. Pull over and check the plugs. Just driving it around it will run lean, 14.7:1, stoich. As far as the MAP adjuster, one is ground, one is 5v, and the other one you hook it up to. Just check the harness. IIRC the middle one should be ground. Its not going to do you any good unless you have some sort of AFR gauge. Wideband preferred, but you may be able to get by with a narrow band that hooks into your stock O2 sensor.

a wideband unit and sensor is worth investing in. i bought one years ago when i built a megasquirt for my bmw autocross car and have used it on multiple vehicles since then. its on my jeep now and i am carb'd. i have used it on a few carb'd vehicles previously too.

its just smart to be able to see what you are running as its running. buy an innovate lm1 or lc1 or whatever set up catches your eye and use it because you have too much time and money wrapped up in your engine to burn a piston through or fry something because of a lean mixture

The MAP sensor has three wires going to it; a 5v reference wire, a ground, and the middle one is the MAP sensor output voltage. You need to tap into the 5v reference wire to hook up your MAP adjuster.
