Block Strength?

Anyone know if their is any year block thats considered the strongest?

I've heard the Renix blocks have more nickel content and earlier HO blocks w/o the main girdle have more metal in them. But its all "I heard", especially on thr Renix issue.

I'm calling :bs: on the renix block's being better!, every one I've torn down has such BAD! ring ridge that it's a wonder they can be saved at .060" over!?, my '97 and '00 blocks could have been honed and put back at STD, they probably have thicker cylinder walls than the later blocks due to improvements in manufacturing?
You can get more power out of ANY engine!!!
