Using Hypers in my Stroker... no issues. If you build it right and watch your AFR's and Temperature it shouldnt be an issue.

Someone was telling me when builing a stroker motor something about grinding the rods down near the bearing so it doesnt wipe the oil off the cam. Does anybody have any insite on this? idk if he was talking about a different motor (hes a chevy guy) or he just doesn't know what hes talking about but figure I would ask. I know on some connecting rods you that To have the top by the pin ground some to clear the piston.

If you use IC944 pistons, the balance pads on the small ends of the 4.0L connecting rods need to be ground away to clear the pistons.
I think you're referring to the lower half of the rod bearing shells preferably having a hole so that oil squirts onto the cam lobes.

IDK just something someone told me to look into. so I figured I would ask.

Perhaps he meant you had to grind the rods so they wouldn't hit the cam which you have to do in some V8 combinations. That doesn't apply here.
