AGAIN. When we first had the motor put it, it ran through the break-in period fine. Then the shop was having trouble keeping her going and getting her started. She threw a code P0340 :Camshaft Position Sensor A Circuit (Bank 1 or Single Sensor)
Fixed it, ran for I dunno almost 8 months fairly well.
Started her up yesterday and VROOM shoots up to 3k and sputters out. Try turning over 2 more times, checking you know, voltage, oil pressure. Check for codes:P0340 Again..
WTH? They used OEM parts and still can't figure WHY the Cam sensor is going all wonky. They are checking the Distributor drive gear and cam gear as well. The whole assemble, cm, distributor, drive gear were all replaced at the same time during break-in. I'm hoping this won't be a continual problem
