correct injectors?

I think I got the right injectors but just wanted to double check. I got 8 of them for under $60 bucks including shipping. These are for my modified 4.0, not a stroker.
Numbers on side of injectors: 5277739 and 0 280 155 703. For 95-96 Dodge/Plymouth Neon DOHC 2.0L
Im pretty sure I read that these would fit my '91 cherokee but does anyone know for sure? Also, will I be able to fit these in the '99 and up intake manifold?

These are 23lb injectors and are the same injectors that i run on my 4.7 Stroker with a 99+ Intake manifold.

Yes to both questions. Those 4 hole injectors will work fine but since they're EV6 and you injector harness plugs are EV1, you'll need to buy the necessary adapters. They flow 24.1lb/hr at 47.9psi so at the '91 XJ's 39psi fuel pressure, they'll flow 21.7lb/hr which is close to stock.

Where can I get these adapters from or do I cut them off a newer Cherokee and splice them in to my fuel rail after removing my old style one? Or should I get another set of injectors that plug into what I already have?

I found lots of adapters on eBay for cheap.
I need the ev1 to ev6 adapters correct? Not the other way around.
Should I use an adjustable fuel pressure regulator when installing these or does it matter?

The injectors are EV6, but have EV1 connectors.. no adapters needed.

Again they are 22.666666666666668 lb hr @ 3bar (43.5psi). So with a stock FPR @ 39 psi, these injectors will flow 21.46225413348797 lb hr.

I run my afpr @ stock 39psi on my RENIX with the 4.7 stroker... so they may still be to big for you... I guess i my RENIX doesnt need much fuel or something.. seems odd.

You can use an afpr to turn them down a bit... but i honestly wouldnt go anything lower than stock fuel pressure to keep the fuel automized.

I hate to say it but Im confused...

1st, will the injectors I posted pics of plug into my '91 XJ's connectors or do I need the adapters that "Cheromaniac" was saying?

2nd, will these injectors fit in my '91 XJ's intake manifold?

3rd, will these injectors fit in a newer '99+ intake manifold?

4th, are these injectors best suited for a 4.0 or a 4.5+ stroker engine?

2nd, will these injectors fit in my '91 XJ's intake manifold? Yes.

3rd, will these injectors fit in a newer '99+ intake manifold? Yes.

4th, are these injectors best suited for a 4.0 or a 4.5+ stroker engine? Stock/mildly-modified 4.0 engine or Renix-based stroker if at 39psi fuel pressure of the '87-'95 injector rail. At the 49psi fuel pressure of the '96-'04 injector rail, they flow enough fuel to feed a mild HO 4.5/4.6 stroker.

just try to plug it in to the jeep without it in the manifold then you will know if you need adapters. or take a pic of the plug so we can see it better. and to answer your ? of fitting the manifolds if it fits one it will fit both

Most people purchase 24#'s for a Stroker.. these are ~23#.. so i would say yes they might be a little big. Stock is 19#.

If you look at the injectors you can clearly see that the connector is EV1. Even though the injector is EV6.

Here are some pics I just took.
I wasnt able to pull one of the injector plugs off yet cause I just got home from work and the engine is smokin' hot.
I got these just for my upgraded 4.0 with 99+ intake manifold, k&n intake, ported throttle body, header, full exhaust, and soon an AEM F/IC to contol everything and possibly nitrous.

I understand the confusion, because I haven't ever heard of "ev6 injectors" with ev1 connectors(what you have/what 87-98 jeeps have). I've only heard of ev6 as a designation for the newer style connectors. Muad: you sure you don't mean a gen3 injector with ev1 connector?
